Pre-K and Kindergarten Bilingual (Italian-English) Program

Casa Italiana’s new Pre-K and Kindergarten Bilingual Program offers a harmonious and integral education to children 3 to 5 years of age in a safe, welcoming, positive, cheerful, active and stimulating environment. Children learn to socialize, build their own personal identity, develop autonomy, increase competence and confidence as they grow up.

Scheduling follows the Italian Ministerial program’s guidelines and is enriched by American culture.

A child’s typical day is a succession of stimulating and engaging activities that encourages exploration, discovery, doing, experimenting, and thinking. The program provides traditional activities and labs. All activities are carried out in a playful and serene context.

Children will experience the Kindergarten program through games, songs, plays, dancing, videos, educational trips and parties. They will easily learn Italian thus becoming authentic bilingual children: children of the world!

Our Mission

This program was created by Casa Italiana Language School with one goal in mind: to make it easy and fun to learn the Italian language, culture, and customs by exposing children to a new language at an early age.

Our Goals

  • To encourage the children to show initiative, make decisions and develop problem-solving skills.

  • To teach Italian literacy skills and to rapidly increase the fluency of Italian, as children will naturally feel compelled to communicate with their Italian speaking instructors.
