Enrollment process:
To enroll you can:
- download the Registration Form, fill it up and send us back by email or fax. Someone will call you back to proceed with the payment (check, credit card, cash).
- do it online through our enrollment system.
Discounts – 5% family discount (inquire at the school office) for all language courses / 5% referral discount for each referring student as well the new student (inquire at the school office) for all the language courses. Online enrollment is not possible if you are requesting a discount. Please call our office.
Refunds – only in the event that:
•The class is full at the time your registration is received.
•The class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment (a minimum of 7 students/class is required).
•The class is cancelled by CILS for any other reason.
•Students withdrawing from a course 3 days before the first class will receive full refund. The student notifies CILS in writing 3 business days prior to the start of the course.
•Students may withdrawn after just one meeting will receive a refund of 70% of the tuition.
•Students may withdrawn after just two meetings will receive a refund of 60% of the tuition.
•Students may withdrawn after three meetings will not be refunded, unless there are extenuating circumstances (for example health) and the refund will be on a pro-rated basis or can be credited to a course in future session.
Returned checks: A $50 fee will be charged;
Cancellation: For announcements of class cancellation due to inclement weather or other reasons call 202-638-1348 or check our website : www.casaitalianaschool.org. The office is closed Friday & Saturday.
Italian Placement Exam – Find the Right Course for You!
Our Italian Placement Exam ensures that every student is placed in the class best
suited to their goals and current level of knowledge.
Placement Exam Cost: $40, payable through the link below.
The placement exam has two steps:

Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email message with a link to a google form to take the written portion of the exam. The test includes grammar questions, short readings, and other tasks that help us evaluate your level.

After submitting the written portion of the exam (google form), you will be contacted by Casa Italiana Language School Staff to schedule your oral evaluation which can be done by phone or via Zoom, depending on your preference.
After completion of the exam, you will receive a detailed evaluation along with a personalized recommendation for the course at Casa Italiana Language School that best matches your level and goals.
If you choose to enroll in any Casa Italiana course after completing the placement
exam, the $40 exam fee will be discounted from your course tuition!
