Tania Constantin

Originally from Spilimbergo, Italy—known worldwide as the City of Mosaics—she earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Trieste. Before moving to the United States, she worked for many years as a political assistant, gaining extensive experience in public administration and institutional affairs.

In 2020, she relocated to Washington, D.C., with her daughter to reunite with her husband, who had already been living in the United States. Soon after her arrival, she worked as an Accounting Specialist for an American company, an experience that allowed her to further develop her professional skills while adapting to a new cultural and professional environment.

Since 2024, she has been working as an Italian language instructor at the U.S. Department of State, where she teaches American diplomats and helps them develop advanced Italian language skills while deepening their understanding of Italian culture.

Since 2021, she has also been teaching Italian to children and adults at Casa Italiana Language School.
She believes that learning a language is about much more than grammar and vocabulary—it is about building bridges between cultures, fostering mutual understanding, and creating meaningful connections.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, and spending quality time with her family. She brings her enthusiasm for the Italian language and culture into every lesson, creating an engaging and welcoming learning environment for her students.
