Maddalena Bebi

Dr. Bebi is a linguist and educator specializing in linguistic anthropology, applied linguistics, and language education. She is currently pursuing postdoctoral research in Applied Linguistics through a collaboration between the University of New Mexico (UNAM).

Dr. Bebi holds a Doctorate in Linguistic Anthropology from the University of Macerata in partnership with the University of New Mexico. She also earned a Master's degree in Neo-Hellenic Linguistics from the University of Ioannina and a Bachelor's degree in Languages and Literatures of North America.

She currently teaches at the high school level in Maryland, United States, and serves as an Assistant Professor with Georgetown University. Over the course of her career, Dr. Bebi has taught Italian as both a first and second language in diverse educational settings, ranging from secondary schools to universities and postgraduate programs in Egypt, Libya, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States.

Fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Dr. Bebi's work reflects a strong commitment to multilingual, intercultural communication, and innovative approaches to language teaching and learning.
