REVIEW CLASSES

Beginner Review

Through the reading of some short texts students will review the major challenges in the basic Italian grammar, including the verb system, areas of contrast with English, and some vocabulary issues. The topics that will be covered are: Present Tense of regular and irregular verbs; Imperfetto; Passato Prossimo, Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns, Future tense, Prepositions. Beyond grammar students will practice their pronunciation, reading and conversational skills.

Grammar Review

Requested by our students, this course will help anyone who wants to reinforce the understanding and application of basic Italian grammar. Each class will focus on a specific topic through drills, activities and games. The course is contingent upon reaching a minimum number of students.

Intermediate Review

In this course students at an Intermediate level will review the most important rules of the Italian Grammar as: the difference between Imperfetto and Passato Prossimo, the Modal Verbs; the Present and Past Conditional, the Subjunctive, the Double Pronouns, the Italian Periodo Ipotetico. Students will also read articles in order to improve their vocabulary and their conversational skills.
