GRAMMAR REVIEW FOR TEENAGERS – meets once a week - 6 weeks

 

​Casa Italiana offers a new learning path for children participating in the Sunday course of Italian as a Second Language.

This 6 - week course will help Teenagers who wants to reinforce their understanding and application of basic Italian grammar. Each class will focus on specific topic through drills activities: reading, listening, writing and games. This course is contingent upon obtain a minimum number of 5 students. Once the course is underway, additional students may enroll in specific course segments .

 

Syllabus:

  

Week 1 – Articoli determinativi/indeterminativi; le preposizioni e le preposizioni articolate

Week 2 – Presente indicativo (regolari e irregolari verbi) – “volerci” e  “metterci” - costruzione del verbo piacere

Week 3 – Passato prossimo - ausiliare avere ed essere - participi passati irregolari – piacere, volerci e metterci  al passato prossimo 

Week 4 –  Verbi modali (potere, volere, dovere)  al presente e al passato prossimo – avverbi con   il passato prossimo – aggettivi possessivi

Week 5 – Futuro semplice e composto – imperfetto

Week 6 – Imperfetto o passato prossimo

ITALIAN BASIC FOR KIDS AND TEENAGERS – meets once a week - 6 weeks

 

​Casa Italiana offers a new learning path for children participating in the Sunday course of Italian as a Second Language.

This 6 week course is designed for children with no prior knowledge of the Italian language.  

Studying Italian at an early age is certainly easier since they assimilate the concepts immediately, learn fast and forget less. This course is all about teaching the children to speak, read, understand, and write in Italian.

It will be split in Kids and Teenagers. 

Sec. 1 Sun. 10:00 AM -11:30 AM;

Instructor: Clorinda Guida

Age: 12-16 years old

Starts: July 11 – August  15

Tuition: $240 - 6 weeks 

Sec. 1 Sat. 10:00 AM -11:30 AM;

Instructor: Anna Siciliano

Age: 6- 11 years old

Starts: July 10 – August  14

Tuition: $240 - 6 weeks
