Ceramics

Introduction to the art of Italian ceramics. The aesthetic and technical aspects of the ceramic process and a survey of the three most important Italian schools are presented.

Mosaic

Introduction to the art of Italian Mosaic. Students will be taught the entire process from the design to the finished product, and they will go home with a finished mosaic in the form of a panel,tabletop, or a frame made by themselves. The piece will be chosen outof a vast array of Roman, Byzantine or modern patterns.

Cooking

Celebration of the Regional Foods of Italy. Learn from local Italian chefs how to cook everything from appetizers to desserts, or to order coffee in an Italian cafè and how to make your own pasta. Classes are participatory (hands on).

Wine Tasting

Italian cusine is more than just the food. It is about the atmosphere, the people and, of course, the wine. Come travel with us and discover the characteristic wines of Italy's Regions.

Italian for travelers

This class is designed for those traveling to Italy for business or pleasure. Each class will be dedicated to a different category of words and verbs needed for conversing.
