Description: This course is designed for students who have completed Advanced 4 course and wish to acquire greater fluency. Task-oriented auditory practices, readings and excerpts from Italian videos will be used as a base for conversation. Grammar will be covered as it emerges from class discussions.

Conversation 2
This course is designed for students with a good command of Italian. Students will converse on social issues elicited from videos, articles and excerpts provided by the instructor. The course is geared to perfect conversation and fluency.

Conversation 3
A course designed for advanced students. During the course the students will read, review some grammar and watch a sample of movie passages that are particularly representative of the Italian contemporary society. Through the discussion they will improve their conversation skills.
During Sunday course the students will watch the Italian movie” Notte prima degli esami-oggi”.

Contemporary Italy
This course is designed for students who have completed the Advanced 4 course (or equivalent) and wish to acquire greater fluency, while learning about culture and life in modern Italy. Students will research on Italian websites and practice on other contemporary written and visual material, in order to improve their reading, listening, and conversational skills. Learning material will be provided by the instructor. As part or the course, each student will give a class presentation on a topic of their choice, related to contemporary Italy.
